There is also much to do near the villa with lots of local temple ceremonies which the staff can help you to explore. It is an easy drive to see the monkeys at the Monkey Forest temple, explore the labyrinth at Bali Eco Adventure, or to visit Bali Zoo, Bali Bird Park or the Elephants at Taro. If you wish to have a day by the coast we are only a 30 minute drive to the cool surf and great waves at Pantai Keramas.
Villa Kalisha is about 25 minutes from the centre of Ubud. A carefully chosen location means that you can still head into Ubud easily, but are able to enjoy a relaxing and cool location (it is typically only 25 degrees centigrade or so at Villa Kalisha as it is at a higher altitude) and see more of the village culture that really characterizes Bali. The pool is completely private and no one is near you at all – it is total seclusion.
